The CU has a new 800 toll free telephone number
for members calling from out of state.

This number will only connect you to the Credit Union. Calls to this number can
not be transferred to other buildings in Countryside. We are going to monitor
the cost before we are able to open the number statewide also.

Stop in at the CU and see the 2003 Harley Special that is
being raffled by Local 150. Tickets are available at the CU.

MOECU also offers a CU cash Card, use it as an ATM card or a debit card. Remember the old Cash Station logo? it has been replaced by the STAR network.

We have been affiliated with the new network for months and have received excellent service, and that means you will receive excellent service.

Watch for the STAR. Currently, the CU does not charge a point of sale fee, which is when you use your CU Cash Card to purchase items (debit card).
As we have been telling you for years, Midwest Operating Engineers Credit Union is a full service financial institution, established to provide financial services to the membership at a competitive price. Now it's up to the membership to take advantage of the many services available and save money.

If you think that you may be a victim of identity theft, immediately contact:

The Federal Trade Commission to report the situation and get guidance on how to deal with it.
The three major credit bureaus to inform them of the situation.
Your local public department to have an officer take a report.
Any businesses where the identity thief fraudulently conducted transactions in your name.

Reason: identity theft is a crime under federal law, and under the laws of more than 44 states, that carries serious penalties including imprisonment and fines. 3) Visa Verified: members need to add a password to their Visa transactions on line.
4) All documents are shredded on site.

2) Review your statements and bills. If you have questionable items, don't ignore them. Instead, investigate immediately to head off any possible fraud.
3) Report lost or stolen credit cards immediately.
4) Review your check orders to make sure none have been stolen.
5) Shred any financial solicitations
6)
