To become a member of Midwest Operating Engineers Credit Union, be sure you are within our field of membership. It is by limiting our field of membership that we can afford to offer the special advantages available through a credit union.
MOE Credit Union's field of membership includes members in good standing with IUOE Local 150, Local 399 and Local 731 and their immediate families. Employees of IUOE Local 150, Local 399 and Local 731, employees of Midwest Operating Engineers and their immediate families are also eligible for membership.
To help the government fight the funding of terrorism and money laundering activities, Federal law requires all financial institutions to obtain, verify, and record information that identifies each person who opens an account.
What this means to you: When you open an account, we will ask for your name, address, date of birth, and other information that will allow us to identify you. We may also ask to see your driver's license or other identifying documents.
If you are eligible to become a member of MOE Credit Union, you may join after completing a membership application and depositing $50 in a share (savings account). This $50 represents one share with a par value of $50. This can be accomplished by mail or in person at any of our locations.
If you are opening a new account by mail, a copy of your driver's license plus a copy of the joint owner's driver's license (if applicable) must be included with your application and first deposit.
